Through its OEMs, Norsital Group is conducting extensive materials testing programs to optimize parts and components of its unmanned aerial vehicles, automotive and container systems.

We work with a significant bandwith of materials, which is a key enabler for our manufacturing depth, ability to customize, and to ensure resilience in our manufacturing. In the metals, plastics and carbon fiber material segments, we work in close collaboration with our regional suppliers and keep supply chains short and flexible.

Our group’s Nimbus SRL operates a designated 3D printing division in Italy for the production of UAV chassis adapted to specific operative environments.

As a consortium, Norsital Group is open to cross-industry collaborations with industry and research entities in materials development in particular for aeronautical applications. We encourage cooperations with material science departments of universities and research insitutes focussed on application-specific developments.
